European Institute for Health and Sustainable Development (EIHSD) is organising a webinar “European Health Policy as for the Start of the Conference on the Future of Europe” which will take on the 25th June, from 15.00-16.30 CET on Teams’ environment.
Vytenis Povilas Andriukaitis, former European Commissioner, Lithuanian MP, and ex-Minister of Health, one of the authors of the Manifesto for the European Health Union (https://europeanhealthunion.eu/), will speak how the European Health Union is seen by the European Institutions.
Professor Ilona Kickbusch, a global health reformer, a world-known expert on health issues, will speak about the European global health policy with the emphasis on the results of the Global Health Summit in Rome, 2021.
Ana-Carla Pereira, cabinet expert from the European Commissioner for Jobs & Social Rights, will share her ideas on deepening the implementation of the European Pillar of Social Rights at the EU and national level and its impact after Porto Social Summit.
The Moderator of the webinar is Joe Lynam, a broadcaster, Business Correspondent from the BBC.
At the end of the webinar will be questions from the audience and panel responses.
